NYT-Quality Charting Using Dumb Ol’ Excel

I’ve been obsessively cynical about the design capabilities of Microsoft Office – particularly Excel’s clunky charting and PowerPoint’s … well … name it – but, I’ve gotta eat a few of my words.   1. Wow, I can see how that does grab the eye of even cynical old Mac lover Dan! That’s truly getting more firepower out of Excel than I have seen in quite a while.
