Distraction: Lucid Movement

If you’re the sort to host little clip shows in your classes, then Lucid Movement is your candy shop. The author turns a slow shutter speed to all sorts of events to which none of my students or their teacher would otherwise give a glance. ¶ For example: a water vortex brewing in a blender. ¶ And if the reader is feeling like inducing a seriously contemplative mood over his or her Friday morning, then I recommend Broken Social Scene’s, “Lover’s Spit,” at half volume underneath.
